As much as I love playing with the alcohol inks, the photography and digital imaging is just as much of the process. In the header, you can see how different the colors look based on the angle of the light. A lesson I learned very quickly was that the photo and post processing were just as important as the original art piece.
From beginning to end, I’m looking for the best way to capture the final piece, which in our case is ultimately a digital file, not a physical piece of art. With those files we create the pendants and notecards, we share those file with Vida so they can create pieces on our behalf… it’s a cool process, and there are many steps. But we love them all and hope you do too! 🙂
